New Membership and Fees

The RAOTC is an organisation which was formed with the objectives to maintain the interest and original pioneer spirit of amateur radio, honour the history and heritage of our hobby, and encourage good fellowship amongst all radio amateurs.

Full membership of the RAOTC is available to any person who has held, or has been qualified to hold, an Amateur License for a minimum of 25 years.
Associate membership is available to any person who has held, or has been qualified to hold, an Amateur License for a minimum of 10 years. Associate members are entitled to all the privileges of Full membership except the right to vote or to hold office.

An RAOTC member, on achieving 90 years of age, and having been a member for a minimum of 10 years, automatically qualifies for a free life membership..

Membership subscriptions are:
$A18.00 for a one year membership; or
$A32.00 for a two year membership; or
$A375.00 for a life membership.

A $A5.00 joining fee is payable by new members to cover the cost of a membership certificate, the recording of membership, and initial postage.

There is a two step process for joining the RAOTC

Application for NEW membership by CREDIT CARD
STEP1
Download the RAOTC membership application form from the RAOTC webpage to your computer. Open it with any PDF reader and fill in the details. It is an interactive file and the text boxes can be filled in with your computer. For a signature, type your name in the signature box.
Email the completed PDF form to raotc@raotc.org.au . AFTER filling out and sending the application form proceed to step 2.
STEP 2
To pay your membership and joining fee by credit card, use this payment form:

You can also print out a hard copy of the form and fill it in by pen using block letters. The completed PDF application form can then be scanned and emailed to the RAOTC Membership Officer at raotc@raotc.org.au.

Please note-: Some browsers may not support the interactive PDF features of the application form. In this case it is recommended that you download the membership application form to a folder on your computer. You can then open the PDF file off-line with any PDF reading program and fill in the information by keying it in to the relevant interactive fill-in text boxes from your computer keyboard.
