Stewart Day Award

OTN Stewart Day Award
In 2003 the RAOTC management committee decided to establish an annual award, titled the OTN Stewart Day Award, in order to commemorate Stewart’s service to the RAOTC in producing OTN journal over a long period of time.
This award, in the form of a colourful certificate, is to be presented each year to the RAOTC member whose original contribution to OTN has been judged by the management committee to be the best published in that calendar year. Other criteria which is taken into consideration for this award is:
- The author should be a member of RAOTC [at any level] – special consideration could be given to an author who is not a member if the article is deemed to be worthy of the award.
- Committee members are not permitted to be considered for the award.
- The article must be an original – not a copy of an article from another publication.
- The article must be considered to be of interest to members.
