Draft Privacy Policy
The RAOTC committee is currently preparing a draft privacy policy to inform RAOTC members of what personal data is being collected and how it is used. The draft policy is below and comments or further suggestions should be sent to : raotc@raotc.org.

Who we share your data with

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Member database
We also maintain a Members Database which contains the basic information we need to communicate with you, such as name, address, email, and postal. This information is held by us in a secure system which is not connected to the website and is not accessible to others other than authorised committee members.
As a security policy, No personal data is stored on this website other than basic information to verify members when downloading material directly from this web site [such as copies of OTN]. Our member database is separate from this website for additional security.
Membership application form
The membership application form available on this website collects the personal information we need to determine if applicants meet the basic requirements and communicate with them. This information is not stored on this website. The form is emailed directly to our office [or via the postal system] and then transferred to our database. Members can ask to see what information we hold about them, which is mostly what you send to us on the application form. A membership number and date of joining will be added once the application is approved.
We do not give or sell your information to any third parties.
The above policy is currently being looked at by the RAOTC Committee and will be adopted once approved by the committee. If there are any changes or additions to this policy that you would like to bring to the attention of the committee, please write an email to : ratoc@ratoc.org.au with your suggestions. This document is open for comment until June 1st 2025, and after this time the committee will consider its adoption for approval and publish the policy on this web site. A printable copy of the policy will also be made available in PDF form for download from this website.
