The September luncheon in Melbourne was very well attended. The AGM was very efficiently run by Mike Goode and Peter Clee with participants both in the room and via video conference.
A warm and thankful tribute to past committee member Jim Gordon, VK3ZKK was given with a rousing applause. Unfortunately he was unable to join us on this occasion to hear it in person.
A new committee was elected with a few new members. We’ll have more on this in future posts.

Guest speaker, Peter Wolfenden VK3RV, gave a fascinating presentation about aviation and amateur radio from the 1920s, “Wireless in the sky”.
The presentation included photographs of wireless technology of the 1920s, and some of the people involved at that time, together with their place in our history.

The lunch was sumptuous, drinks refreshing and conversations most enjoyable.
